Trying To Leave Westcliffe
January/February 2008
My parents have sold their place in Westcliffe, but moving the stuff to the Wyoming home has not been as easy as planned.
It has involved hurt wrist, help not being available as they broke bones doing other things, dealing with snowed filled drive
ways, and rushing to get things things out of the house ontime.
Well, it all worked out, well, expected for the truck and trailer load. As my parents were trying to leave, heavy gust of winds forced the truck to get stuck in very deep snow drifts on the roads. The truck has been stuck there for a few weeks. Below are very photos at various times of the move, and trying to get the truck free.
The photos are a combinations of pictures from my dad, my brother, Brian, and from me.
At this time the county still has the road closed as there is too much snow. Thus, the truck is still stuck.
