Oh, what a beautiful place, hike, and day. It was great to get do this hike, even if it was so long. Humboldt Peak stands at 14,064 feet tall and the 38th highest mountain peak in Colorado. The peak is near Westcliffe, CO and is part of the Sangre de Christo Range (which means "The Blood of Christ" due to how red the mountains look at sunrise and sunset).

The hiking group included Alan, Josh, and James. It was a sweet day for a hike in the mountains. The weather was very nice and it was very pretty scenery.

This was my 29th completed Colorado 14er, the 20th for Josh, and around the 13th for James. We are not sure of Alan's has completed, as he stopped counting, but he has done a lot of 14ers in the state.
